capital : Tokyo (About 12 million population, area 2,102km2)

Australia area : 7,682,300km2 (About 21th times of Japan area)
population : About 20 million people (About one sixth of Japan population)
capital : Canberra (About 0.35 million population, area 2,400km2)

Mishearing Japanese words & Australia words
Japanese mishearing on English
- "Cann't pay" → "CANPAI" Its Japanese means is "cheers".
- "Choosy" → "SYOUSHI" Its Japanese means is formal "Stop laughing".
- "Bin" → "BIN" Its Japanese mean is the bottle of glass.
Aussie mishearing on Japanese
- "A SO" Its word is not means. Just Japanese giving responses. → "AXX hole"

Diffarence in eating Usually Japanese people can have a raw eggs, raw fish, raw horse meets. And they eat some kind of puff fish (But its cooking is needed speciality licence ).
Most time on eating, Japanese people have rice & miso soup (soy bean paste soup) with chopsticks. And they take a plate when they eat this. Australian people have firstly soup. Australian people like BBQ (They have BBQ plate with gas).
Fast Food Australia has red roobster, Hungry Jack's and Macdonald etc on fast food shops

Road Usually Japanese road have a speed limit 60km/h. And Japanese pay road is more expencive than Australian one.
Traffic light Traffic light direction is different. Left below picture is Japanese traffic light, Right is Australian traffic light. Their size are similar
 
Speeding Japanese police begins to captuer about over 20km/h of traffic sign for Speeding. But Australian police is about over 2km/h of traffic sign.

Car Most popular type of car in Australia is the UTE car. Most one in Japan is the car of sedan type. And small car of under 1 liter is popular in Japan. New car price is similar Japan & Australia but second hand car in Japan is cheaper than Australia one. And usually second hand car shops in Japan don't have the car of took over 150000km.
When shopping Usually Australian people use a card on shopping. But usually Japanese people use cash money on this.
Communication of people People in Australia has shaking hands, hugging and kissing as culture. But people in Japan has culture of shaking hands, bowing. Kissing and hugging is rarely in Japanese culture.
Holidays Australian likes outdoor. Their holidays is to camp with caravan, fishing with boat, driving and extending house. Japanese holidays is to practice of Golf, going to play "KARAOKE", going to Japanese hotel, driving and shopping. They enjoy traveling in Japan or outside Japan if they have longtime holidays.
Garden Australian house and sports ground have grass. Japanese house and sports ground have soil or artificial grass.
Festival Japanese loves the festival in hometown. Lots of Japanese pople are shy. But they are like crazy while festival. "MATSURI" is festival on Japanese language. Japan have lots of local "MATSURI". And it has lots of vending shops. Below photo is "MATSURI" in my hometown.

Australian religion Most Australian people are Christian.
Japanese religion Japanese religion is "Shinto" and "Buddism". But Japanese people don't firmly belive them. Because Japanese people celebrate Christmas and lots of Japanese have a wedding in the church. They have two main religion that usually their house has a miniature shrine and a Buddhist altar. Their things name are "KAMIDANA" and "BUTUDAN".
